Los Angeles-based writer/illustrator Gabriel Hardman has worked on a diverse number of comic book properties, including The Hulk, Wonder Woman, Planet of the Apes and Star Wars. Image Comics recently published his “canine noir” KINSKI, and he just launched the series INVISIBLE REPUBLIC, co-written by his wife Corinna Bechko and colored by Norman, OK’s Jordan Boyd.

Gabriel is also an accomplished motion picture storyboard artist whose credits include Interstellar, The Dark Knight Rises, Spider-Man 3, X2: X-men United, the Austin Powers trilogy, Tropic Thunder, Edge of Tomorrow, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Inception.

Gabriel will be discussing with AIGA Oklahoma his experiences working in the highly collaborative world of big budget Hollywood films vs. the direct creative expression of making comic books.
