Thinking Conceptually
Regardless of the medium, editorial illustration is rooted in conceptual and often fast thinking. In this workshop, we’ll play with image making and will talk about new ways to think on how to conceptualize a story to end up with a finished piece.
Whether through digital collage, drawing, or good old pen, paper and scissors we’ll create a visual piece that can convey an idea, discussing the ins and outs of how to reach out to art directors and get commission work.
