AIGA OK Presents: Stories with Amy Schwartz

Chicago-based designer Amy Schwartz will be sharing stories behind some of Cards Against Humanity’s biggest projects, like the Holiday Hole, the time they sent actual bullshit in the mail for Black Friday, the time they bought an island, the time they bought a castle in Ireland, and the time they sent 150,000 socks in the mail for Hanukkah.

“We’re real people making weird jokes to make other real people laugh,” says Amy, “And the reality behind these gags is absurd, uplifting, horrifying, and interesting.”

Amy is a designer specializing in branding, digital experiences, and games. She is currently the Design Director at Cards Against Humanity and Blackbox. Amy founded Liminal Space in 2015, a design initiative that promotes experimentation, community, and dialogue within Chicago’s thriving design, art, and technology scenes.
